Students who have been absent should complete Books XXIII & XXIV Study Guides to complete all reading assignments for The Odyssey. You can read along with the audiofile, same as for all books of The Odyssey.
The Odyssey Part II (Books XIII-XXIV) Test will be on Tuesday, May 8. A study guide was handed out yesterday in class. In preparation for the test and for a grade, you will make character review cards. A plastic bag and 28 colored notecards were handed out in class. You were instructed to write each of the 28 characters on the review sheet on the unlined side of the card. On the back (lined) side, you should write 1) who the character is, 2) why they are important to this part of The Odyssey, and 3) at least one epithet for that character. On the front with the character's name, you should have at least one illustration that goes along with them or their contribution to this part of The Odyssey. While all of them will be due on Tuesday before the test, 14/28 will be due COMPLETE on Monday. I will check. We already did one together in class, so that's 13 for you to complete.
